CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 21 June 2026 at 11:00 AM, Longowal Group of Colleges, Derabassi<\/strong> enthusiastically celebrated International Yoga Day<\/strong> with great zeal and participation.  The theme for the 12th<\/sup> International Day of Yoga was \u201cYoga for Healthy Ageing\u201d The programme was organized to promote the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle. Faculty members, staff, and students actively participated in various yoga asanas and breathing exercises under the guidance of trained instructors. The participants performed different yoga postures and learned techniques for stress management, concentration, and overall wellness. The event highlighted this year’s Yoga Day message of adopting yoga as a daily practice for a healthier and more balanced life. The management appreciated the enthusiastic involvement of all participants and encouraged everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily routine for holistic development and well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
