11th Blood Donation Camp

In the loving memory of our Founder Chairman Late. Sh. B.B. Katyal, Longowal Polytechnic College and WC Industrial Training Institute, Derabassi organized 11th blood donation camp in collaboration with Department of Transfusion Medicine, GMCH Sector 32, Chandigarh on 15th October, 2019. The objective of the camp was to propagate the significance of blood donation in saving lives. The Management, teaching and non-teaching staff and Students of all trades came forward and participated in this noble cause with great enthusiasm. Above 70 units of blood were donated.

Our honorable chairperson Smt. Kanta Katyal, presided over the event as a chief guest. Mr. Sanjay Attri (CEO Sanjay’s Apna Hospital) presided over the event as a guest of honor . Certificates and small token of appreciation were issued to the donors by Department of Transfusion Medicine, GMCH Sector 32, Chandigarh at the camp site itself. Many students took the resolution to donate blood for the needy.
