EID celebrations, 2023

Eid-Ul-Fitr, the festival that upholds the spirit of brotherhood, love, and secularism, was celebrated by Longowal Group of Colleges, Derabassi with great enthusiasm.

The poster, craft, and mehandi competitions were also part of these celebrations. All the students celebrated this festival with great brotherhood and love. They hug and greet each other on this blessed festival. The Muslim students also presented a ‘Naat’ song, which they enjoyed a lot.

Smt. Kanta Katyal, Chairperson, and Dr.Rosy Katyal, Principal of Longowal Polytechnic College, addressed the students and apprised them about the customs and practises of this festival.

Dr.Vinod Katyal, principal of Longowal Academic College, also envisioned Eid as a celebration and as a means of self control and self diagnosis.

An Iftar party was held in the hostel, in which students of all religions sat together and delighted in the festival.
