Diwali Fest Celebration – A Grand Success

Longowal Group of Colleges, Derabassi, celebrated Diwali Fest with great enthusiasm and festive spirit on 16th and 17th October. The two-day celebration featured a variety of sports, cultural, and creative competitions, which witnessed energetic participation from both the Academic and Polytechnic wings.

In the sports events, the Academic College emerged victorious in Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, and Kabaddi tournaments, showcasing remarkable teamwork and sportsmanship. The Polytechnic Wing won the thrilling Tug of War event, adding to the excitement of the festival. In several other competitions, including cultural and creative activities, the winners represented a vibrant mix of both Academic and Polytechnic wings, reflecting true unity and collaboration. The WCITI wing also participated with enthusiasm and won in various sports and activities.
