Grand Farewell Celebrated at Longowal Polytechnic and Pharmacy College

Longowal Polytechnic and Pharmacy College, Derabassi, under the esteemed Longowal Group of Colleges, organised a grand farewell titled “A New Horizons – Farewell Party 2026” to bid a warm and memorable adieu to its final year engineering students.

The event was graced by the distinguished presence of Smt. Kanta Katyal (Chairperson), Dr. Kapil Katyal (Vice Chairman), Dr. Rosy Katyal (Principal, LPPC), and Dr. Vinod Katyal (Admission Director & Principal, LAC). Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries inspired the students with their encouraging words and extended heartfelt blessings for their bright and successful future.

The event witnessed a vibrant display of talent through a variety of cultural performances, Ms. Farewell and Mr. Farewell titles were awarded to Ms.Babita and Mr.Pinak Vyas respectively from Computer Science Engg. 

Titles such as Ms. Confident, Ms. Talented, and Ms. Beautiful Outfit were awarded to Kajal, Harpreet Kaur and Babita, while   Chetan Raj, Satyam Rana, Vikash, Satwinder Singh and Pushkar were honoured with titles like, Mr. Talented, Mr. Confident, Mr. Stylish, Mr. Handsome, and Mr. Trendsetter.

The College management also proudly honoured Mr.Satyam Rana from Mechanical Department with cash prize of 5100/- for his hard work and dedication

In addition, Star Performer Awards were presented to outstanding students for their excellence in academics as well as co-curricular activities, appreciating their all-round achievements.

The programme concluded with refreshments and emotional farewells, leaving behind cherished memories for the students as they step forward towards new horizons in life.
