NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

Longowal Group of Colleges, Derabassi, in collaboration with the Institute Innovation cell, celebrated National Science Day on 27 February 2026 with great enthusiasm to commemorate the contribution of Sir C.V. Raman and to promote scientific awareness among students. The celebration featured a Science Quiz, Creative and Innovative Poster Presentation, and a Debate Competition on the topic “Artificial Intelligence – Boon or Bane,” where students actively participated and showcased their knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking skills. The winners were honoured with appreciation certificates and awards in recognition of their outstanding performance. Dr. Rosy Katyal (Principal, LPPC) appreciated the efforts of the organisers and encouraged students to develop a scientific temper and innovative mindset, making the event a grand success.
