Republic Day Celebration, 2024

Republic Day was celebrated by Longowal Group of Colleges, Dera Bassi with immense ecstasy on 26th January, 2024. The campus was beautifully decked with tri-colored ribbons and flags, alongside great motivation, immense pride, and strong patriotic and joyful feelings. The celebrations kick started with the hoisting of the Indian tricolor flag by College Vice- Chairman Dr. Kapil Katyal and then singing of the National Anthem. The students through their speeches and plays showed feeling of thankfulness towards all the martyrs who had made many sacrifices to make India a Republic Nation. The spirit of patriotism continued with dance and singing performances by the students. Dr. Rosy Katyal (Principal) in her address spoke about how it is important to be patriotic not just during the special days like this but be proud and patriotic throughout the year. The event fully captured the spirit of “Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” and was a celebration to remember.
