29th august-national sports day in Longowal Polytechnic College and W.C.I.T.I., Derabassi

29 August is celebrated as National Sports Day  in India.It is the birthday of Major Dhyan Chand who is one of the most respected legendary figures in India and world hockey. On this occasion, a Table tennis and a Volleyball championships were conducted at Longowal Polytechnic College, Derabassi campus from 28th August,2018 to 29th August 2018.  Harpreet singh from Computer Science Engineering and Sonu kumar from Mechanical Engineering  got first and second position in Table Tennis championship.The winner team of Volleyball championship was Applied Science . Computer Science Engineering got second position for the same.
